A2B Model Railways hopes that everyone is keeping safe and healthy during the current lockdown period. Although the doors of the shop are closed to the public, we are still trading online, over the phone and via our Skype service. We are enjoying helping out our customers with their ongoing projects. We are also taking the chance to work on some of our own, and some of our layout commissions. All of these are very much in the micro layout category. The first is our ongoing 009 project. Built on a 2ft square board it uses track a Peco 009 starter track set - https://www.a2bmodelrailways.co.uk/product-page/peco-st-400-009-starter-track-set and is planned to go on display in the shop window when we re-open.
The second project is also perfect for those who have limited space - a 00 gauge shunting puzzle stored in a wrapping paper box. The initial track plan can be seen below:
